Who is Peer Support for?

It’s an exciting opportunity to support families in pregnancy or during their journey as new
parents.  This includes assisting mums and dads from conception up to the age of two years working across Sandwell.

What support can we provide?

Peer Support

Our support workers, POWS (Pregnancy Outreach Workers), will support families in pregnancy or during their journey as new parents to ensure they receive financial advice, information and guidance.

POWS can support with:

  • Financial Advice
  • Benefit Check
  • Benefit Entitlements
  • Grant Support
  • Helping with
  • Applications
  • Support accessing other services
  • Social Isolation
  • Housing Issues
  • Encouraging self empowerment

How to refer
